Prof. McBagonluri calls for technology, entrepreneurship blend curriculum

David Gowu is an esteemed leader and visionary, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana (IIPGH) and the President of TICON Africa. Known for his expertise in digital transformation and IT outsourcing, David has been a key figure in shaping the digital landscape of Ghana.  

Through his leadership at IIPGH, he has championed efforts to promote ICT professionalism, foster industry-academia collaboration, and drive innovation across Ghana’s ICT ecosystem. 

In addition to his role at IIPGH, David is the CEO of INNGEN, an IT business outsourcing service that specialises in strategic human resource planning and IT talent management.  

His focus on bridging the digital divide, promoting digital literacy, and advancing cybersecurity initiatives has positioned him as a leading advocate for technology adoption across the region, where his work has empowered numerous ICT professionals and contributed to the growth of Ghana’s tech sector. 

As President of TICON Africa, David’s influence extends beyond Ghana, as he leads efforts to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among technology professionals across Africa.

Under his guidance, TICON Africa has launched initiatives that support the development of sustainable digital solutions, helping drive Africa’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and creating opportunities for the continent’s burgeoning tech community.
